How does it work?

Our Risk Score service combines various factors, such as location, device, time, IP address and much more.

Example

sorbay_RISK SCORE recognizes that Ms. Meier is in the office, it is 11:25 a.m. and she is in Europe – in Switzerland, to be precise. She is using the device with the same IP address as always. These factors are used to create a tailored risk score that calculates the probability that it is Ms. Meier. Conversely, it rules out an attack or fraud. The lower the risk score, the easier it is for Ms. Meier to authenticate. This means that Ms. Meier is not explicitly asked for a second factor based on these factors – everything is automatic and secure.

With sorbay_RISK SCORE a login service can dynamically select the optimal authentication mechanism. The login service used, such as the USP Secure Entry Server®, can take different measures based on this evaluation.
